Last week, Rae and I took extra days off on either end of the Louis Riel Day long weekend to go to the 2010 Winter Olympic City of Vancouver. Even though we didn't have event tickets, we had an incredible time experiencing the energy of an Olympic host city.
It was great to see all of the visiting countries wearing their pride, singing their culture's songs in the streets and supporting their athletes by traveling thousands of miles.
