Finally! My second installment in my Cuckoo's Nest series of paintings, Charlie Cheswick.
The first in the series was a painting of Jack Nicholson's character, R.P. MacMurphy in One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest, the 1975 movie based in the Ken Kesey novel of the same name. Sydney Lassick's portrayal of the neurotic Charlie Cheswick makes him one of the most endearing character's of this classic movie. It was much better than his role in the Vanilla Ice epic, Cool as Ice but that is a totally subjective appraisal. To see pictures of the process of the painting check out the orange kid's flickr photostream in the artwork set.
I now leave you with video of a still image of Mr. Cheswick to the tune of Jack Nitzche's Medication Valse from One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest. Enjoy.
